R2R Group’s 10 Points of Principle

Each Member of the R2R Group has agreed to follow the following 10 Points of Principle.

  • All roles advertised exist and are a true representation of the role requested by the client.
  • All candidates are thoroughly interviewed (either face-to-face or via the telephone) and screened prior to being submitted for a role.
  • No information about the client or a candidate will knowingly be withheld if it might influence the other's decision regarding the appointment.
  • Members will take all reasonable steps to give candidates and clients feedback within 1 working day of an interview with a client.
  • The client will not be given confidential details of any candidate (verbal or written) without that candidate's prior consent.
  • Members will not download CVs from jobseeker websites and submit them to clients without having first registered the candidate and conducted a face to face or telephone interview.
  • Before introducing a candidate to a client, members will make clear to clients their policy for reference checking candidates.
  • No Group Member will knowingly approach or attempt first contact with a candidate placed by themselves or another Group Member (within a period of 12 months).
  • Each of our Member’s has agreed to conduct their businesses in a professional manner at all times whilst acknowledging all applicable laws including, but not limited to, the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 (the 2003 Regulations).
  • In addition to the above requirements members are expected to promote equal opportunities, to decline to engage in any discriminatory practices, and to promote best practice in the recruitment industry as a whole.

Where a Member is in breach of the above Code and a complaint is raised an investigation will take place by the Directors of the R2R Group.
